Resilience consultations – stress management, uncertainty tolerance, and optimizing your brain for effective adaptation to life’s challenges.
These consultations help you better understand:
- the patterns that shape your work and relationships;
- how you cope with periods of stress and pressure;
- how your nervous system processes stress, emotions, and cognitive load;
- how you use your internal and external resources to adapt to your current circumstances.
Consultations provide a space for regular check-ins: to understand what is happening right now, how it is affecting your wellbeing this week or this month, and whether anything should be adjusted while the situation is still manageable.
The format is tailored to what you need:
- A single consultation or a short series of 4–10 sessions to address a specific issue.
- Ongoing consultations (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) if you want to stay in tune with your wellbeing or work through several important topics over time.
Situations I work with
Consultations are designed for specific, current concerns. For example:
Building Resilience for various life situations Developing greater emotional and mental resilience so you can respond more flexibly and effectively under pressure, high workload, uncertainty, or chaos—whether in business, work, relationships, or everyday life.
Managing Workload Your responsibilities have increased, or your usual routine is no longer working, and you want to rethink how you allocate your attention and energy.
Improving Recovery Your sleep, energy levels, and ability to recover between demanding periods have become less predictable or are no longer where you want them to be.
Emotional Regulation Your emotional reactions have become more intense or less predictable than usual, and this feels unfamiliar to you. You want to regulate your emotions more effectively in stressful situations.
Switching Off and Relaxing Work-related tension follows you home. Even when you have time to relax, it’s difficult to fully unwind, and your usual ways of switching off (food, social media, or an evening drink) have started taking up more space than you’d like.
Background Anxiety Financial concerns, the feeling that you’re missing important opportunities while others move ahead, or recurring thoughts about unresolved problems occupy your mind more often than you’d like.
Stress Showing Up in the Body The demands you’re under are beginning to affect your health in ways that interfere with your daily life or require you to adapt (for example, headaches, neck or shoulder tension, digestive issues, cardiovascular, immune, or metabolic problems, or changes in the condition of your skin or hair).
Focus and Motivation Your concentration is less stable than it used to be. Starting tasks or staying focused has become more difficult, and you find yourself resisting or avoiding actions you had planned.
A Difficult Decision or Choice You need to make an important decision and want to examine it from different perspectives to reduce blind spots.
Adjusting to Change A new role, a new job, relocation, changes within your team, relationships, health, or age-related transition
Tension in Relationships or Teams Communication, trust, respect, or the ability to follow through on agreements has deteriorated, and you’re not willing to accept this as the new normal.
If your question is broader – about life direction, purpose, self-realization, identity, or long-term strategy – coaching is likely to be a better fit. I’ll let you know if I believe that’s the case.
I’ve also described how consultations differ from coaching, assessment, skills training, and psychotherapy – click here.
How a Consultation Works
During our 60-minute session, we:
- identify the main issue you’ve come with;
- analyze the factors maintaining or intensifying the situation;
- explore the psychological, behavioral, and physiological mechanisms involved;
- identify the resources you can already rely on;
- create a realistic plan for your next steps.
If you choose an ongoing format, the first consultation also establishes a general rhythm and focus for future sessions – without a rigid program. Each session is guided by what is most relevant at that time.
What You’ll Gain
After a consultation, most people say they feel lighter – not because the problem disappeared overnight (it doesn’t work that way), but because they gained a clearer understanding of themselves, their situation, and a new perspective.
You’ll leave with:
- a deeper understanding of your situation;
- an explanation of the mechanisms influencing it;
- practical recommendations;
- greater clarity about your next steps;
- a better sense of whether one consultation is enough or whether another format would be more beneficial.
Fees
- Individual consultation (60 minutes): €65
- Package of 4 consultations: €240
- Package of 10 consultations: by arrangement
If, after the first session, it becomes clear that your situation would benefit from more systematic work, we can continue in the form of consultations or coaching. If not, a single consultation can be fully sufficient on its own.
Who This Is For
The most useful collaboration I have with people who:
- are already capable of solving many of their own challenges but want to compare their perspective with someone who can view the situation professionally;
- value honesty and structure more than comforting promises or reassuring words;
- are willing to examine their situation critically rather than seek confirmation of what they already believe;
- are open to trying new approaches instead of repeating the same strategies while expecting different results;
- are looking for real change rather than the appearance of change and want to take concrete, effective steps forward.
If this sounds like you, my approach will likely be a good fit.
When a Consultation Is Not the Best Choice
If you’re experiencing an acute psychological crisis or require psychiatric or psychotherapeutic treatment, a consultation is not a substitute for appropriate care. If that’s the case, I’ll tell you honestly and help you determine the most appropriate type of support.
About Me
More than 8 years of practice and over 5,000 hours of consultations have taught me one thing: what works is not universal advice or strict adherence to a single approach, but solutions tailored to each individual and their specific situation.
My work is grounded in university-level psychology education, additional training in certified psychotherapy methods, and evidence-based approaches to stress and resilience.
Not Sure Where to Start?
If you’re unsure which format is right for you, start with a free 30-minute introductory call. We’ll briefly discuss your situation, and I’ll honestly tell you whether I believe I can help or whether another format would serve you better.
If you already know you want to get straight to work, you can skip this step.
Another excellent option is to begin with a Stress and Resilience Diagnostic. You can find more information about it here.
Next Step
Book a consultation if you’d like to gain a broader perspective on your situation, find practical solutions, and strengthen your resilience.
How Is This Different from Psychotherapy or Traditional Psychological Counseling?
We don’t focus on your past unless it is relevant to helping you adapt and solve your current challenges.
We don’t put clinical labels on you. My approach is to work with you in analyzing specific aspects of your personality, brain, psychological functioning, overall physiology, actions, and decision-making. Based on your individual profile, I help you become more resilient, more adaptable, and better able to protect what matters most in your life.
My clients are educated, thoughtful, and ambitious people who recognize that adapting successfully to modern stress requires new, higher-quality strategies.
During consultations, we analyze your situation through contemporary models of stress, adaptation, resilience, and decision-making. My role is to help you identify patterns that are difficult to see from the inside, explain the mechanisms behind them, and work with you to develop practical options for moving forward.
I don’t make decisions for you. I share knowledge and experience that may be relevant to your situation and help you make your own decisions with greater awareness.
How Is This Different from Diagnostic, Coaching, and Practical Skills Training?
- A Stress and Resilience Diagnostic provides a picture of your current resilience – it serves as a starting point.
- Coaching is systematic work focused on long-term development and life goals.
- Consultations sit between the two: a space to understand what’s happening now and decide what to do next.
- Practical training sessions are dedicated to developing resilience skills – they’re like going to the gym, but for your brain.
